a far off destination

A popular statement these days is, "We believe that the journey's more important than the destination."

I like knowing where I'm going. Paul longed to "be with Christ" (Phil 1:23). If the destination is irrelevant to the journey, what good is the journey? If life is full of sentimental, trite, "Chicken Soup for the Soul" lessons, it is far better to die than live that wasted existence. Oh that I may long for that glorious destination to dwell in heaven with Christ!

Hey!

It was cool bumping into you again the other week, like Paul says, let us "press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus" (Phil 3:14)

There is no point in doing things for God, or even living this life, for "to live is Christ and to die is gain." If we dont know where's we're going, or where our motives are derived from then you're just a mindless cog.
